Awaited Exams

Now, that it's finally time for exams, the questions of clothing seems totally inadequate. In these long weeks all you need is a small warderobe with the most comfortable stuff, clothes which you can forget you're actually wearing, and a huge bag to carry all the equipments for the self-terror (like...BOOKS). This outfit is mainly based on classic menswear pieces, and some details, like the slip-on shoe give a preppy, Ivy League edge, just to help getting into the mood.

Nem tudom ti hogy vagytok vele, de ha beüt a vizsgaidőszak, olyannyira crazy leszek, hogy -bármennyire is elfogadhatatlanul hangzik-, még öltözködni se nagyon van kedvem. Szerencsére már eljutott a világ odáig, hogy a kényelembe is belecsempészhetjük a so-called fashiont és egy kicsit megritkított ruhatárral (bye bye stilettos) járjuk végig a "várva-várt" vizsgákat.

Ezért úgy gondoltam, hogy elmegyek a mindig kényelmes férfi ruhatár felé (persze csak elméletben) és hagyom, hogy a mokaszinnal és a bő inggel érvényesüljön az uomo hatás.

Chinese Vase

As the heat came (and, well, gone for some time now) and the tempreture got higher and higher I started to aspire to the simplest possible clothing solutions for comfort and lightness. As you may discovered already, I'm not that minimal type at all, but it really makes sense in summertime to shop and wear the toned down pastel palette embraced by all the fashion powerhouses this season (LV, Dolce, DvF, Chanel, Versace, Rochas etc.). You can wear it purely, without any stand-out pieces, I combined it with my fav blazer (of which printed pattern reminds me somehow of a chinese vase) to inject some individual touch.

Ahogy az utóbbi hetek elő-nyári szezonjában emelkedett a hőmérséklet, azon kaptam magam, hogy tökéletesen elment a kedvem a komplikált összeállításoktól, és némi bocsánatos önmegtagadásként értékelni kezdtem a minimál nyújtotta komfortot és könnyedséget. Az egyszerű darabokat az éteri pasztellek aktualizálják, ugyanis a szezonban boldog boldogtalan (LV, Dolce, DvF, Chanel, Versace, Rochas stb.) ezeket a visszafogott, ellágyított színeket kínálja. Az irányzat önmagában, tisztán és ártatlanul is megáll a lábán, én viszont felkaptam a kissé kínai vázákra emlékeztető mintájú, kedvenc blézeremet kontrasztanyagként.

Work it, Make it, Do it, Makes us, HARDER!BETTER!FASTER!STRONGER!

This time our team decided to do a special spread in order to avoid being monotonous, have fun and do  something more creative than street snaps. The photos were taken on the 1st of May so it seemed obvious to play with the theme, and put a retro inspired, post-communism extravaganza together. My outfit is totally contemporary, all white and the pretty bold, transparent shirt make it exciting and eccentric. There's a strong contrast between the clothes and the Working class hero clichés we created. Still, if you use your imagination it could be a new fantasy interpretation of workwear and uniform.

Úgy döntöttünk egy kicsit kilépünk a szokásos street-fashion sorozatok monotonitásából, és szabadon fantáziálva csinálunk valami szórakoztatót. Mivel a fotózásra május elsején került sor, ellenálhatatlanul kínálta magát a szocreál-retro tematika. A merész, áttetsző felső merészségével kontrasztban állnak a "munkáslét" közhelyes kellékei, a grandiózus, patetikus építészet. Ugyanakkor a hófehér öltözetről akár egyfajta munkaruha-újraértelmezésként is fantáziálhatunk.
